Sean Hannity was stunned into silence after what one guest said about a cop

American law enforcement is once again under attack.

The debate has reached the set of Fox News.

And Sean Hannity was stunned into silence after what one guest said about a cop.

On Wednesday night’s broadcast of Hannity’s Fox News program, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino debated Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera about the death of Daunte Wright in a shooting the police officer involved claimed was accidental.

Rivera criticized the officer involved for meaning to reach for her taser and instead grabbing her firearms and proceeding to shoot and kill Wright.

Bongino was not happy with what Rivera said about a member of law enforcement.

“I don’t even know how to respond to that. Give me a second to digest the stupidity of that,” Bongino responded.

Rivera fired back calling Bongino nothing but a “name caller” and a “cheap shot artist.”

“How about responding with facts?” Rivera responded. “You’re nothing but a name-caller! You’re a cheap shot artist!”

Rivera added that black Americans were twice as likely to be shot by police officers as whites.

But Bongino countered citing a study showing there was no racial bias at all in police shootings.

Rivera then insulted Bongino’s career in the Secret Service and blasted him as a political hack.

“I know more than you! What do you know?” Rivera fired back. “What, did you have a ten-minute career as a cop? You’ve been running for office for the last 20 years.”

Bongino then belittled Rivera’s career in journalism saying he had no basis to criticize police since he never wore a badge.

“There’s a big difference between reporting on a baseball game and playing it, Geraldo. You’ve never worn a badge, period. Not interested in your reporting on it, because reporters deal with facts, and you brought the race card into it the other night when we had this debate, despite having no facts to back that up.”

Bongino and Rivera went back and forth with Bongino accusing Rivera of sympathizing with the rioters.

Rivera then flew off the handle with an unhinged profane tirade.

“I want to see the country burn?! You son of a b****! I want to see the country burn, you punk?! You’re nothing but a punk!” Rivera shouted back.
