Kamala’s Dad Trashed Her Badly In Public, VP Chances Go Up In Smoke

Joe Biden’s campaign sent out a “trial balloon” to see how Kamala Harris would do as his VP pick last week. It was widely reported the California Senator was a shoo-in and it would be announced shortly. However, her father previously trashed her so badly, her VP chances went up in smoke. You’ll love this.

One of Kamala Harris’s biggest boasts was being an “African-American” woman in politics. This big boast turned into a nightmare and has now become the one thing the Biden campaign wants no part of.

Kamala’s father previously claimed it is all a big lie. She’s not African-American. In fact, her family from Jamaica were rich slave owners.

Donald J. Harris is Kamala’s father. After Kamala joked about pot-smoking and her Jamaican heritage in a radio interview, the professor of Economics, Emeritus at Stanford University, had heard enough.

“They say you oppose legalizing weed,” one of the hosts said, curious how the California Senator could have smoked it and opposed legalizing it.

“That’s not true. And look I joke about it, half-joking — half my family’s from Jamaica, are you kidding me,” Kamala said with a laugh.

Mr. Harris was extremely upset his daughter was using the race card and only mentioned her true heritage as a joke about smoking pot. He’s angry she wants Americans to see her as an African American, not as a Jamaican.

“My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics,” said Mr. Harris in

“Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty,” he added.

Now, many of Kamala’s proponents are claiming her family still came from Africa but went to Jamaica first. CNN’s April Ryan was furious claiming, “When [Kamala] goes down her lineage many Africans landed in Jamaica and other Caribean islands. So she could indeed be African-American!”

Except, Donald J. Harris has already made it clear his family’s history in Jamaica goes back generations, and they were slave owners, not slaves.

“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town) and to my maternal grandmother Miss Iris (née Iris Finegan, farmer and educator, from Aenon Town and Inverness, ancestry unknown to me),” said Kamala’s father.

Making matters worse, Kamala got hit by leftwing activists in Chicago.

Bonnie McGrath, a columnist in Chicago called out Harris as a phony for turning on a fake “black voice” when talking about smoking pot.

“So there she was on the radio a while back, on The Breakfast Club, and one of the hosts asked Senator Kamala Harris, if she smoked pot,” McGrath writes. “She giggled. And giggled. And giggled some more. All the giggling got under my skin. As did the phony accent she drifted in and out of during the interview to make herself more ‘black’ for the listeners.”

Well, it sure looks like Kamala is out, and Susan Rice is in.

Rice tried to quietly sell her stock in Netflix which triggered many politicos to see it as a sign she is now the favorite as Biden’s VP.  The New York Times caught on that Rice was now the “one,” and they quickly published a hit piece sending the Biden campaign a clear message: Rice has too much baggage.

However, Susan Rice is the pick of the one couple that matters the most to the Democrats: the Obamas. It’s no secret Barack and Michelle see Rice as part of their family. With her as VP, it would be as if the Obamas never left 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

The Trump campaign along with his supporters would love to see Susan Rice as the VP pick. Her Benghazi lies would be resurrected. Her foreign policy disasters would be highlighted. Do we want to go back to 2008 with a Biden/Rice cabinet and all their failed policies?

If the Biden campaign sees Rice as too much of a liability, Joe’s options only get worse. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is in the running as the wild card. We can only hope. Her COVID policies made the Gestapo look like pansies. In the end, Biden committing to a woman of color may have been too far a bridge for his campaign.
