Biden Jokes on Faking an Illness: “I’ll Develop Some Disease and Say I Have to Resign”

In a Thursday interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on “Cuomo Prime Time,” former Vice President Joe Biden told the anchor that he will “develop a disease” and “resign.”

Biden’s remarks came after discussing about potential disagreements with Kamala Harris if they take over the current administration in January 2021. He said that he and Harris have previously spoken about it. “I understand how campaigns can sometimes get a little out of wack a little bit,” he explained, adding he doesn’t “hold grudges.”

“So I don’t have — when we disagree, it will be just like — so far it’s been just like Barack and I did. It’s in private. She’ll say I think we should do A, B, C, or D. And I’ll say I like A, don’t like B and C. And let’s go okay,” Biden told Tapper.

“And like I told Barack, if I read something where there’s a fundamental disagreement we have based on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign,” he continued.

Biden also said he and Harris are “simpatico” when it comes to their governing views, and have already talked about policies, including foreign policy, domestic policy, and intelligence.

This week, the Trump legal team attended several public hearings in some battle ground states: Arizona, Michigan, and Georgia, where they presented massive evidence, including hundreds of affidavits, several witnesses, and shocking video clips that clearly show fraud during the 2020 elections. Unfortunately, Trump appointee Attorney General William Barr said the DOJ hasn’t seen anything substantial to pursue an investigation to the claims, that could reverse this year’s election results.
