A jaw-dropping poll shows the Democrats dug their own grave this November

The Fake News Media and many elected Democrats are already imagining how big their victory will be this fall.

They just got a major wakeup call.

And that’s because a jaw-dropping poll shows the Democrats dug their own grave this November.

Pundits across the spectrum expect the Democrats to grow – or at the very least maintain – their Congressional majority.

But a new poll of battleground districts across the country shows Democrats’ rush to embrace the Black Lives Matter movement led to them to take unpopular positions that alienated key swing voters.

In a poll commissioned by the National Republican Campaign Committee the findings revealed that swing voters rejected the Democrats extreme anti-police agenda.

Vast majorities of swing voters were repelled by Democrats voting to release murders and rapists from prison as part of their federal takeover of policing.

“Fifty-nine percent (59%) of swing voters are strongly less likely to vote for a Democratic member of Congress who voted for legislation that could allow for the blanket release of prisoners, including murderers and rapists. Additionally, 61% of married women, 54% of college graduate women and 60% of voters age 65+ are strongly less likely to vote for a Democratic member of Congress who supported the legislation,” the survey reported.

Democrats’ push to defund the police was also wildly unpopular.

While 51% of swing voters in battleground districts support the protests (but not the violent aspects), when asked “based on the things that you have seen, read, or heard, do you support or oppose defunding police departments?” a full 46% strongly opposed defunding police departments. Additionally, 47% of married swing women, 50% of college graduates and 48% of seniors strongly oppose defunding police departments.

Polls currently show Joe Biden leading Donald Trump and Democrats in position to keep their majority.

But as the last five months have shown that events are unpredictable and this new poll shows the path forward for the Republican Party to win in November.
